Armitage Raaw Battery + Vectropolis Zone (SEGA Project)

These are my 2 videos that were in the 2006 SEGA project
The first one is my Armitage one and the second one is a fixed version
of the Elfen Lied video.
It was fun working stuff from the sonic games into the videos
like the rings and the "SEGA" part at the beginning of the elfen lied video

AO-Hectic Henshin Practice Files Part 1-6

Im gonna tell you right from the start that these videos
are old practice segments and will most
likely give you a WTF moment at some points.
These videos were originally never
meant to be seen since they were basically
me having fun doing strange things
to my favorite scenes from different anime.

Back in early 2005 when i worked on the Anime Overload
AMV series, I had one particular episode called Hectic Henshin.
The video was around 9 minutes long and was a simple magical girl tribute.
The project was completed but never released with the AO
series because i didn't like the way it turned out and scrapped the project.

If you look at my amv profile, you will notice a large gap
of time between the release of the last AO episode and
the first MEP i joined later in 2006.
During that time, i didn't make any videos to release
on the site and just did stuff for
practice to improve my editing skills.
Since i have a fondness for Magical Girl themed
anime and VGM, i decided to use that and re-open
the Hecitc Henshin project files but
this time i went to go wild with it.
Since this was only for practicing, the videos became anything goes
mixing all kinds of anime together
and doing very weird things with them.
The videos contained alot of unusual
events and went from animes like Sailor Moon
to Ranma to Elfen Lied.

Even though the videos were never meant to be released
and to just stay hidden on my HD, I put alot into them
and worked on stuff in it just about everyday when i
had free time. The massive amount of work put into
the videos helped me improve in things like Sync, Crossovers,
editing speed and lip sync. Some of the videos
even had little plots that continued over in multiple segments.
The time put into all the practice videos was about a year or a little over
and if you were to combined every segment I made together,
it would be between 1 and 2 hours.
One thing you can notice easily about these is the
improvement of sync in these videos from the AO episodes.
The thing i always wanted to improve in my early work
was sync so i worked on different sync techniques in the videos.
I got real serious with some plots and stuff in the later segments
and used a wide variety of anime i had available at the time.
It was alot of fun experimenting with various things
and using an unual mix of anime thought the segments.

I don't regret all the time i spent on the weird videos
since the practice helped me improve alot in different ways.
These are some of my favorites of the practice files.
Don't think i'll ever do something like this again though :)

Alot of stuff in these will probably make no sense but fans.
of the sources and/or music might enjoy them.
If for some reason you actually want to give critique on these, keep
in mind that they are old and i have progressed a lot since then,
but feel free to tell me if you actually liked something from these. ^_^

Soul Anime Archives: EPIC (Basshunter Segment)

This isn't an old video also but i might as well release it with the rest.
Its the segment I done in Chii's Basshunter MEP called Project Elysium

The video can pretty much be described as a fast multi anime blur.
It was alot of fun doing the video since it was
the first time I ever edited a video at such a fast pace.
Im glad Chii let me in the MEP.
While i did love the music of course, one of
the main reasons why i wanted to join the project
was because alot of my friends
and editors i like were involved in it.
It was nice to be involved with the project
even though i wasn't as active as the other members
and got pistol-whipped ^^;
Once of the main things i worried about when
joining the project was that i wouldn't ift in
since everyone else in it was good with
effects/fancy stuff and im a non effects editor.
But i took Chii's advice and just
edited to my own style and not worry
about trying to match other editors
and everything worked out fine...I think ^^;;

Be warned that if you aren't into videos that
have alot of fast cuts, you probably will want to avoide this
because like i said, it is a fast paced multi-anime blur.

Moonlight Crash (Original Version)

Moonlight Crash is pretty much my favorite of all the videos i made.
Its a tribute to my favorite anime and was a lot of fun to make.
Originally I couldn't think of a name for the video but later
came up with the Moonlight Crash name
because of some of the events in the video.
It mainly focuses on sailor moon but adds
a lot of other anime in the chaos
and even has a part that shows lots of
other magical girls joining in the fight.
This version was featured in the
first Moonlight Melody MEP in 2006
Both this version and the SE one
will be released since they both have
major differences.

Moonlight Crash! SE

If you seen the original moonlight crash but not this one,
you might need to get this one now.
This video isn't just an update to the original
Its a complete remake of it.
It does alot of things i wanted to do in the first one
but didn't have time to pull off.
Everything in the video has been reconstructed except
the image sideshow, and the multi magical girl split screen.
There is ALOT of changed and new scenes in this video
and improved sync and quality over the original.
It features even more anime in the mix and more
magical girls in the final screen to join in the
fun along with an extended intro.
This version was featured in Moonlight Melody SE 2008
and was combined with another video edited by Firemeblem and I
that also used the name Moonlight Crash.
If you like the video, I recommend you check out both version
since they have ALOT of noticeable differences.

The other half of the video edited by me and Fireemblem
is currently not available for download.
it may be up some time soon.

Note: some transformation sequences show some nudity
but it is barbie doll style and not detailed.

Love Buzz

A fun/romance amv I made late 2005 around the same
time as my "I Love Love You" AMV.
Its one of my favorites of my older videos
but ended up not getting released after it was made
because i got involved with other stuff around the time
and eventually forgot about it.
The song it uses is 'Love Buzz" by Vogue
I first heard it from an old record I got
and I really wanted t do something with it.
The video is basically one of those cute,fun, romance type
of videos and was fun to make.

When You Smile

This is the remake of my "When You smile" amv
from the Signs of Light and Hope MEP since
the original's backup got deleted somehow.
Its a fun sentimental type of video and features lots
of happy and some sad scenes from various anime.

Souske Is BAD

This was the first video i made when i started
making big changes in my editing style.
The video was planned to just be a practice video
to work on my sync but i ended up editing to the whole song.
The video does match a lot with the lyrics at parts
but its almost 100% action throughout
and contains mostly fights and stuff.
I always like the video and had planned to release it much
earlier but never got around to it.

If you like LOTS of action and stuff,
you will probably like this.

Powerpuff Rave! Full Version

This is the full version of my Powerpuff Rave Video
The original video was made for Sailor Earths' MEP
in 2006 that became the Dee Dee Dee project.
The video itself has no real point
It is mainly a fun and random action type of video.
It focuses on the 3 girls and show
how they became the prowerpuff girls and shows a lot of
action and fun stuff from the show.
If you are into high action and/or like the anime, then
you will probably like this.

1:An AMValentine - 2007 Track
One of my favorite tracks done for a project.
It was alot of fun to make since it had been
a while since i done that kind of video.
The heart scene was from Kare Kano.
I got the ideal from my older "Love Buzz" amv. 2007

2:Magical & Musical - The Magical Girl MEP Track
Its a fast and very random magical girl amv.
My original ideal was much different but i wasn't able to do
cause i was caught up in some other things at the time
so i just went for some simple fun randomness ^_^.
There is a good chance that i'll remake this to the full song
or use the song in another magical girl themed video. 2007
